Tournwa (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the Tournwa mobile application, which helps athletes in the United Arab Emirates discover and register for sports tournaments, games, and training sessions. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

1. Data We Collect

We collect the following data when you use the app:

• Account information: your name, email address, and password (stored as a secure hash), or your Google / Apple account details if you sign in with those services.
• Profile information you choose to provide: phone number, date of birth, gender, nationality, city, country, address, profile photo, bio, club name, height, weight, sport level, and sport interests.
• Content you create: teams you create (names, logos), partner-search posts, and images you upload.
• Registration and payment records: the tournaments, games, and trainings you register for, and the status of related payments. Card details are processed by Stripe and never stored on our servers.
• Parental consent records when a registration requires a parent or guardian's approval.
• Device data: push notification token, device platform (iOS/Android), and app version, used to deliver notifications and support.
• Diagnostics: anonymized crash reports and performance data so we can fix problems (collected via Sentry and Expo).

2. How We Use Your Data

• To create and manage your account and athlete profile.
• To process registrations for tournaments, games, and trainings, including checking category eligibility (age and gender).
• To process payments through our payment provider, Stripe.
• To let you form teams and partnerships and to show your public athlete profile (name, photo, bio, teams, results) to other users.
• To send you push notifications about your registrations, invitations, matches, and results. You can disable these at any time in your device settings.
• To provide customer support and to monitor, debug, and improve the app.
• To comply with legal obligations, including parental-consent requirements for minors.

3. Who We Share Data With

We do not sell your personal data and we do not share it with advertisers. We share data only with the service providers needed to run the app, and each provides protection of your data consistent with this policy:

• Stripe — payment processing (card details go directly to Stripe).
• Google and Apple — only if you choose to sign in with those services.
• Sentry — anonymized crash and error reports.
• Expo (EAS) — push notification delivery and app performance metrics.
• Our hosting providers, which store the app's database and files.
• Tournament, game, and training organizers — they can see the registration details required to run their event (your name, category, team/partner, and payment status).

4. Data Retention & Deletion

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time in the app: Profile → Edit Profile → Delete Account. Deleting your account removes your profile and personal data from our systems; records that we must keep for legal, accounting, or dispute-resolution purposes (such as completed payment records) may be retained for the period required by law.

5. Your Choices & Rights

• Access, correct, or update your profile information at any time in the app.
• Delete your account and personal data from within the app.
• Disable push notifications in your device settings.
• Withdraw consent or request a copy or deletion of your data by contacting us at the email below.

6. Children & Parental Consent

Some events allow minor athletes to participate. Where a registration involves a minor, we require the consent of a parent or legal guardian before the registration is confirmed, and the parent may contact us at any time to review or withdraw that consent.

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure session cookies, and hashed passwords. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information and limit access to it.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes in the app. Continued use of Tournwa after an update means you accept the revised policy.
